What is Inverter And Definition
WHAT IS NVERTERS
Inverter is a Good device Convert Direct current (Dc supply) into (Ac supply) Alternating supply. We know that A.C input voltage over D.C input voltage is called Inverter Gain.DC to Ac power conversion procedure normally work with Transistor or SCRs.This mean Convert D.C power into A.C power with SCRs Or Transistor.
There are two types of inverter base on commutation :
- Line-Commutated Inverters:
- Forced-line Commutated Inverters
Line Commutated Inverters:
When Phase controlled converter work in inverters mode it is called Line Commutated Inverters.Forced-line Commutated Inverters:
In Forced Commutated circuit use have outside source to off device forcefully it is called Forced inverters. There are two types of phase inverters:
- Three Phase inverter
- Single Phase inverter
Voltage Source Inverter (VSI) or Voltage Feed Inverter:
If inverter input voltage is constant then this inverter is called voltage source inverter (VSI) or voltage feed inverter (VFI) inverter.CSI Or Currend Invertert Fee (CFI):
But if inverter input current is constant then this inverter is called current source inverter (CSI) or current feed inverter (CFI).
Variable D.C Linked Inverter
USES OF INVERTERS
(Applications Of Inverters)
Inverter use in electrical and electronics Systems:
Some uses of Inverters there are:
- Variable Speed A.C motor deives
- Aircraft power Supplies
- Uninterrupted Power Supplies OR (UPS)
- HVDC Transmission
- Induction Heating
- Regenerative DC/AC Drives
