What is Inverter And Definition

WHAT IS NVERTERS

Inverter is a Good device Convert Direct current (Dc supply) into (Ac supply) Alternating supply. We know that A.C input voltage over D.C input voltage is called Inverter Gain.DC to Ac power conversion procedure normally work with Transistor or SCRs.This mean Convert D.C power into A.C power with SCRs Or Transistor.

There are two types of inverter base on commutation :

  • Line-Commutated Inverters:
  • Forced-line Commutated Inverters

Line Commutated Inverters:

When Phase controlled converter work in inverters mode it is called Line Commutated Inverters.

Forced-line Commutated Inverters:

In Forced Commutated circuit use have outside source to off device forcefully it is called Forced  inverters.

There are two types of phase inverters:

  • Three Phase inverter
  • Single Phase inverter

Voltage Source Inverter (VSI) or Voltage Feed Inverter:

If inverter input voltage is constant then this inverter is called  voltage source inverter (VSI) or voltage feed inverter (VFI) inverter.

CSI Or Currend Invertert Fee (CFI):

But if inverter input current is constant then this inverter is called current source inverter (CSI) or current feed inverter (CFI).

Variable D.C Linked Inverter

IF Inverter input voltage is control able then this inverter is called variable D.C linked Inverter.

USES OF INVERTERS

(Applications Of Inverters)

Inverter use in electrical and electronics Systems:
Some uses of Inverters there are:

  1. Variable Speed A.C motor deives
  2. Aircraft power Supplies
  3. Uninterrupted Power Supplies OR (UPS)
  4. HVDC Transmission
  5. Induction Heating
  6. Regenerative DC/AC Drives

What is Current

What is Current ?

Current is simple meaning and daffiaction is an flow of electron charge is called current.Current unit is Ampere (A) Current show to (I)

Current are in two types:
Ac Current mean alternating current.
Dc Current mean Direct Current

Alternating current definition :

AC current change direction and value in every second to constant speed is called ac current.

  Direct Current :

Dc Current flow in only one direction is called direction current.

If we can current flow in electrical wire then across wire produced magnetic field. If wire change in wounded shape then wire work as a magnet.

Wapda electrical current example of electrical alternation current.
Battery current example of direct current.
Current ( i ) = charge / time =  q / t

Current can define as ohms law
I=V/R
1 ampare =1 coulomb/sec
1 amp=1volt / 1 ohm

Alternating current have two types single phas and tree phase

Three Phase  diagram:

Single phase have 220 volts and three phase supply have 3 phase and 1 neutral and 440 volts.
Single phase supply mostly use in homes and thee phase supply mostly use in factory or industries.
